Game Day Blaze: The Heady Chef’s Infused Buffalo Sauce
What’s up, fellow citizens of Stoned Earth? It’s your culinary captain of cannabis, The Heady Chef, back in action just in time for Game Day—because nothing pairs better with football and friends than wings that hit both your taste buds and your endocannabinoid system.
Today, we’re whipping up a perfectly balanced, infused buffalo sauce that’ll have your whole squad grinning between bites and calling for instant replays. Personally, I’m a Sweet Baby Ray’s Buffalo kind of guy, but feel free to roll with whatever sauce makes your taste buds dance—we’re just here to elevate the experience.
The Infusion Game Plan
The magic comes from cannabutter, which we’ll melt into the sauce at the very end to preserve those precious cannabinoids. But here’s the deal: Buffalo wings don’t hold a ton of sauce, so we’re estimating that only about ¾ to 1 tablespoon of sauce actually clings to each wing when tossed. That means you’ll want a good, potent butter if you want to feel that extra fourth-quarter push.
Dosage Breakdown
This recipe clocks in at 7mg THC per wing (or per tablespoon of sauce)—a solid middle ground for most stoners.
Got rookies at the party? No worries—keep some non-infused sauce on hand and label accordingly.
And for my heavy hitters out there, set some extra infused sauce on the side—because some of us like a double-dip before kickoff.
Now grab your wings, fire up the oven (or the fryer), and get ready to turn up the heat—both on your plate and in your brain. Let’s get saucy!
Ingredients
20 Jumbo chicken wings
1 Cup Buffalo sauce
2 Tbsp Honey
1 Tbsp Sriracha
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Black Pepper
2 Tbsp Cannabutter (ours was 7g of 25% THC flower in 1 Cup of butter)
Procedure
Fry wings at 350 degrees or bake at 425 until crispy and cooked through.
Whisk all ingredients besides butter in a small pot.
Bring to a boil over medium-low heat.
Remove from heat and stir in butter until fully dissolved.
Toss your wings in all the sauce.
Enjoy with blue cheese or ranch!
